Patiala News:Rs 5 crore more funds released for development of Patiala city under Rangla Punjab Development Scheme – Ajitpal Singh Kohli

-Review meeting with officials of Municipal Corporation and Public Works Department to complete development works on time

Patiala MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli has thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for releasing funds of Rs 5 crore under the third phase of PM-26 Rangla Punjab Development Scheme for the development of Patiala urban constituency by the Punjab government.

In order to complete the various development works planned using these funds on time, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli today held a review meeting with Municipal Corporation Mayor Kundan Gogia, Commissioner Pooja Sial Grewal, Additional Commissioner Simranpreet Kaur and officials of Public Works Department and Municipal Corporation. He gave necessary guidelines to the officials to complete the development works within the stipulated time. He said that the next review meeting of the progress of these works will be held on September 26.

MLA Kohli said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is undertaking large-scale work for the development of Patiala city and no development work will be left incomplete. He said that the Municipal Corporation, Public Works Department and Improvement Trust will complete the works related to their respective departments on time on priority basis.

Ajitpal Singh Kohli said that Patiala city has given Chief Ministers to Punjab twice, but despite this the city remained backward in terms of development for a long time. He said that the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has taken the initiative of all-round development of the city by taking the problems of the people of Patiala seriously and now various development works are being carried out with complete honesty and dedication.
